One of the largest, if not the largest talent and entertainment providers in New Zealand. The website is a service that helps the business and customers find the perfect entertainment for an event.
This logo was created for an underground event space. The Transmission Room was used for television shows, live music, entertainment, corporate events and everything in between.
Working on Skinfood was at first a refinement job, and then a very comprehensive design project. Skinfood was one of the first full service projects where Mata looked after brand, packaging, advertising, website, signage and promotional aspects.
In Motion Media is a brand focussed around innovation in the area of narrow-casting. The brand design was based on a dynamic tv shape. The promotional material was very conceptual and modern.
The daisies logo was created in 2006 for the new early education and care center in Johnsonville Wellington. The original logo was challenged years later in a trade mark dispute for using the half daisy over the letter 'i'. With no active trade mark on the logo we changed the position of the flower to sit over the 's' instead of the second 'i'. This is one reason I now make a point to trade mark my own logos and make recommendations to my clients to do the same.
This logo created for Antipodean Group Limited depicts the globe cut up like quartering an orange and highlights the New Zealand area. The idea was taken from a flat map extrusion of the same shape where New Zealand sits alone on a quarter of the globe.
Mata has designed a large number of flyers for a variety of dance party & club clients since the company started over 10 years ago. The design process is an enjoyable one with a great deal of freedom within a small space. This freedom and work space means a great varity in creative output.
